In this traditional Capitol Hill neighborhood sits Palermo Condominiums. Its original Mediterranean influenced stucco façade was renovated by simplifying the aesthetics with a modern twist while being respectful of the classical architecture and traditional neighborhood. The remediation consisted of new windows, re-cladding the façade with corrugated metal siding and cement stucco siding, new glass deck railings, a new membrane roof, and a contemporary roof cornice.
